The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects in order to support the training goals of the organization.

This role will be responsible for a range of learning and development projects and initiatives that will require training administration and reporting, liaising with internal and external training providers, annual compliance reporting and any additional support related tasks associated with learning and development.

The role will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries and be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a get it right first-time ethos is adopted.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

  • Overseeing and managing of learning and development initiatives as per assigned
  • As per assigned portfolio, responsible for the coordination and delivery of a range of learning and development projects and regular events, this will include but not be limited to:
  • producing and keeping updated project plans,
  • raising of purchasing requisition orders and tracking of payment on behalf of the people services team.
  • Liaising with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff are booked on required events within agreed timeframes.
  • manage participant registration for training sessions, track attendance, and provide necessary communication regarding session details.
  • establishing systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the training service offering in alignment with agreed timescales and standards.
  • Ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned for each development event.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, post-training assessments, and other evaluation methods.
  • Ensure all training initiatives are tracked and reported accurately as per agreed process on the identified systems.
  • Provide accurate monthly reports in alignment with assigned portfolio.

 

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding learning and development opportunities, providing guidance and support as needed. Advise staff on training policies and procedures including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems related to the operation of the learning and organisation development area.
  • Collaborate with Star Factory and HR to assess learning needs and develop training plans or programmes in order to meet and align with the training goals of the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Work with Star Factory and HR to managing annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full compliance within targeted timescales and providing timely and accurate updates to people services partners and senior leaders.
  • Collaborate effectively within the learning team and cross-functional teams across the group to achieve the Learning and Development strategy and goals.
  • Communicate respectfully, and transparently with team members regarding insights, ideas, and feedback to improve learning and development initiatives.
  • Always ensure that team members have an outstanding learning experience that is reflective of our values and the learning teams’ standards.
  • Ensuring that confidentiality and security of sensitive information is maintained and complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

Job specification:

  • At least 2 years Learning and Development Coordination experience preferably in a software or IT environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time under time constraints.
  • Proven experience coordinating large company wide initiatives such as Learnerships, Graduate Programs and Company Inductions.
  • 2 years’ experience with required reporting (TNA, WSP, ATR, etc) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to influence and relate to different cultures and team members from different backgrounds and able to adapt training accordingly.
