Are you ready to take your career in event sales to the next level? Race Coast KZN is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to join our Sales & Business team within the Hospitality & Events Division. This full-time position reports to the Event Sales Manager and is key to ensuring exceptional client service and seamless event delivery from enquiry to execution.
The Event Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and client service support to the Event Sales Manager, ensuring the efficient handling of all event enquiries, bookings, and event coordination from confirmation to delivery. This role is pivotal in managing client communications, preparing proposals and contracts, maintaining accurate records within the CRM system, and liaising with internal departments to ensure flawless event execution that meets or exceeds client expectations.
The ideal incumbent will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and service-driven, , with excellent administrative and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
- Manage client enquiries, venue availability, and bookings.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts under guidance from the Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of client correspondence and bookings in CRM.
- Liaise with Operations and F&B and other internal teams to confirm event logistics and be available on event days to ensure on-site execution according to clients expectations.
- Support the preparation of sales reports and performance tracking.
- Attend client site visits and support event coordination as required.
- Assist with marketing activations, promotions, and client follow-ups.
- Ensure post-event feedback and client relationship maintenance.
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Event Management, Hospitality or Marketing.
- 2–3 years’ experience in sales support or event coordination.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Customer-service-oriented and detail-focused.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple tasks.
