The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate reporting across all areas of the group together with providing support to the Group Management Accountant in designing and reviewing new effective reports which enhance the decision-making ability for its users.

You Bring:

  • Microsoft Office.
  • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate (Vlookups, Pivots, Graphs)).
  • Pastel Evolution or Similar Accounting Software.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

  • Oversee the monitoring and administration of consumable stock counts submitted by the team members at the branches.
  • Review of the weekly consumable stock efficiency report.
  • Ensuring abnormal usage/errors in consumable stock together with inaccurate consumable stock counts are effectively communicated by the Junior Analyst (Finance).
  • Ensure the collection and storage of inter branch transfer notes and updating of monthly schedule are completed by the Junior Analyst (Finance).
  • Review of the monthly consumable stock usage report.
  • Review of rental, utilities and communications reports.
  • Review of key expense reports.
  • Oversee the administration of 3G cards for the group by the Junior Analyst (Finance).
  • Oversee the maintenance of the Masterfile for 3G data cards and keep track of queries raised and ensure these are addressed in a timely manner by the Junior Analyst (Finance).
  • Review of insurance claims report on a weekly basis and ensure claims are paid within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Review of the monthly TAB report.
  • Review of the monthly publications returns report.
  • Partnering with various department heads to understand the reporting requirements of each department and align reporting accordingly.
  • Identifying trends from analysed data to create actional strategies for the relevant departments.
  • Be able to determine which requests from the different departments turn into requirements and their priority levels.
  • Be able to carry out cost-benefit analysis to assess the costs and benefits expected in a project.
  • Proficient in using various business intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards.
  • Provide assistance to the Group Management Accountant on key projects.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks.
