Job Description
The Star Factory has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for assisting the Creative Lead and create visual concepts and planning, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate learners. Develop the overall layout and production design for learning materials, brochures and publications, corporate reports and other training initiatives internally and externally.
Minimum Requirements:
• Graphic design skills
• Experience with desktop publishing tools
• Layout skills
• After effects skills
Advantageous:
• Bachelor’s degree is Graphic Design
Responsibilities:
• General design work including conceptual design and planning
• Determine the message the design should portray and work closely with the instructional designers and other training team members.
• Create images in line with the training strategy and Star Factory brand strategy.
• Display a range of creative design techniques to materialise the concept and design required
• Achieving deadlines and working as quick and efficiently as possible.
• Providing insight to adverts on the website and social media pages.
• Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
• Anticipate the type of design required based on past experience and feedback.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability analyse designs and ensure the desired message is conveyed
• Demonstrates sound artistic & creative skills with the ability to create interesting and appealing designs
• Demonstrate high energy, enthusiasm and motivation in execution of work.
• Ability to use specialized graphic design software to prepare designs
• Strong sense of accountability, dedication, and high sense of responsibility.
