We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Project Coordinator (Commercial) be based in Umhlanga. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Commercial Managers through their ability to scope and define projects and manage project execution, as well as engage with relevant internal Teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of a variety of projects and tasks.

This position is an exciting opportunity for an agile, go-getter with strong strategic planning skills who thrives on the successful rollout of projects and day to day tasks. You Bring:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar commercial, marketing or operational role.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven track record with portfolio of evidence.

 

A Bonus to have:

  • Degree/Diploma in English/Communications or related field.
  • Project management with best practice experience.


What You’ll do for the Brand:

Strategic Planning and Implementation

  • Provide support to the Commercial Managers and assist with day-to-day tasks and admin requirements.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager with the direction for the development of marketing and brand business strategies, training and development strategies as well as human resources and recruitment strategies.
  • Assist with the implementation of a variety of projects/systems/technological advances in line with customer needs and sound project management principals.
  • Assist with analyzing and streamlining processes to improve efficiencies, collaboration and engagement across departments/businesses.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the organization’s commercial process strategy and general business planning.
  • Ensure internal and external stakeholders and management are kept updated with the proposed project campaigns, project plans and budgets.
  • Clearly communicate objectives, timelines and plans to all stakeholders and ensure they have a thorough understanding of requirements.
  • Ensure you are up to date with industry trends and ensure projects and campaigns are well researched.
  • Monitor and provide detailed reporting on all projects, ensuring these are constantly optimized and improved.
  • Collaborating with creative Teams to create all supporting content, ensuring it meets project/campaign objectives and is aligned to our brand.
  • Ensure project budgets are adhered to and escalate any potential variances.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective campaigns.
  • Supervising projects from beginning to end, including but not limited to, marketing campaigns, commercial projects, recruitment projects and any other projects as may be required.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Teams across the business as well as external stakeholders.
